"Le Cirque Magnifique" was the theme for 2004's Mardi Gras Parade.
"Under
the Black Flag: Pirates of the Bayou" is 2005's theme!
The parade will be starting at Olive and Fruit at 1:00
p.m. and traveling east on Olive just beyond Wishon. Come to the Tower District
early for breakfast or lunch, find a great spot to watch the parade, then stay
late for shopping, strolling, music and merriment.
Cajun & Creole food specials all week long at Tower District Restaurants. Call your favorite Tower restaurant and see what they’ve got cooking for you.

Mardi Gras moves inside again this year in the Tower District. Tower night spots will be featuring live music, drink and dinner specials and lots of New Orleans atmosphere. Check out over a dozen Mardi Gras parties at: Avalon Billiards, Bobby Salazar’s Taqueria, Sequoia Brewing Company, Grandmarie’s Chicken Pie Shop, Club Fred, The Daily Planet, Irene’s Cafe’, the Landmark Restaurant, Livingstone’s Restaurant & Pub, Me-n-Ed’s Pizza Parlor, Tower Bay Fish Company and Veni Vidi Vici. Get there early, it fills up fast!
